We recently became a proud sponsor of local charity C.R.Y (Cardiac Risk in the Young). They will be cycling from Lands End to Bignall End next Wednesday (22nd August).
Since its formation in 1995, Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY) has been working to reduce the frequency of young sudden cardiac death (YSCD). CRY supports young people diagnosed with potentially life-threatening cardiac conditions and offers bereavement support to families affected by YSCD.
Here is a quote taken from their Virgin Money Giving page:
“A group of 30 men and women will be cycling 408 miles from Lands End to Bignall End over 5 days, from Wednesday 22nd and then arriving back at Bignall End Cricket Club on Sunday 27th August.
All money raised will go to Dans memorial fund to help screen young people in our local area to raise awareness and prevent further young sudden cardiac deaths.”
Theres still plenty of time to donate to such a worthy cause!
